Description
The Materials Coordinator is responsible for a combination of functions in materials and administration.
Responsibilities, Skills & Hands-On Experience
- Issue inventory materials as required and document the transaction in inventory spreadsheets.
- Perform shipping and receiving activities for materials and services in accordance with Company policy and Quality System requirements.
- Distribute received items to appropriate employees/departments.
- Support accounting with appropriate documentation for purchasing and receiving.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies, kitchen supplies, and cleanroom supplies.
- Support purchasing as needed.
- Experience with international shipping/multiple courier desired.
- Back up and support activities for materials manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
- HS diploma (AA degree preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 1 years in materials in the medical device industry (or equivalent).
- MRP experience preferred.
- Word and Excel proficiency.
- Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) required.
- Ability to work independently or in team setting required.
