Founded in 2015, Shield AI is a venture-backed defense technology company whose mission is to protect service members and civilians with intelligent systems. In pursuit of this mission, Shield AI is building the world's best AI pilot. Its AI pilot, Hivemind, has flown a fighter jet (F-16), a vertical takeoff and landing drone (V-BAT), and a quadcopter (Nova). The company has offices in San Diego, Dallas, Washington DC and abroad. The Hivemind Solutions Test lead will ensure the efficient execution of all test activities required to achieve program and project milestones. They will be expected to help design and stand up test functions for the testing needs of the integrated Hivemind product applied to various aviation platforms.

They are expected to proactively engage cross-functionally to solve problems, unblock issues, and drive effective planning. They must be a top-notch communicator that can engage with both engineering- and non-engineering teams. They must be pragmatic and decisive-they must be able to differentiate & prioritize critical vs non-critical investments in time, energy and resources to achieve ambitious Shield AI objectives.
