LOCATION : Brainerd, MN

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bindery Operator to join our team. As a Bindery Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining bindery equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.

This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities :

• Set up and operate perfect binder equipment.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to keep it in optimal condition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Basic Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years or more of manufacturing experience on similar equipment.
• Knowledge / understanding of basic math, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read a ruler and understand / use metric system.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Ability to consistently and effectively work independently with little or no direction and follow up to complete assignments required.
• Prompt and reliable attendance required.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime and other shifts as required.

Physical Requirements :

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants and chemicals.

• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
• Willing to work all shifts.
• Safety toe shoes required.
• Hearing protection required.

Hours :

Pay from $18.00 per hour DOE and a Shift Differential of $1.00 / hour
