JOB SUMMARY:

· Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance programs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

§ High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.

§ Must be able to wire equipment and plant according to the NEC.

§ Able to operate all hand and machines tools, including welders.

§ Able to read and interpret drawings, sketches, OEM instructions and specifications.

§ Able to troubleshoot and make repairs to complex equipment.

§ Ability to read and comprehend instructions.

§ Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

§ Basic math skills, add subtract, and ability to use a measuring device.

§ Basic problem-solving skills.

DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

§ Ability to be trained for forklift and scissor lift

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

§ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, 20lbs constantly

§ Occasionally be able to do the listed activities

o Moving to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another,

o Communicating with others to exchange information,

o Operating machine and/or power tools

o Work in noisy environments

o Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like

o Moving self in different position to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight spaces

o Remain in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods

o Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

o Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned

o Work in high and low temperatures

SCHEDULE IS MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 2nd SHIFT-3 PM-11:30 PM

SCHEDULE IS MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 3rd SHIFT-11:00 PM-7:30 AM

• Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week
• 2nd shift pays an extra 8% on hours worked
