SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 6.5 hours per day
WORK STATUS: Classified, Hourly Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: School Principal
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing assistance to the classroom teacher in the areas of supervision and general activities for grades 4-8.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must clear background check through online Records check and FBI Fingerprint check through Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
SALARY
Pay rate i based upon Class 1 of the Para-Educator Salary Schedule located at ssd2.org
Employees working 30 hours or more weekly qualify for benefits. Sheridan School District No. 2 is a public employer and participates in the Colorado Public Employees’ Retirement Association (PERA). All employees are required by state statute to contribute 11% of salary on a pre-tax basis to PERA and the District contributes 21% in addition to employee contribution.
