The Bartender/Restaurant Server is responsible for overseeing bar and serving guests drinks and food while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a profitable operation. This position is also responsible for the service of food and/or beverage to include the order taking and delivery of any food, and/or beverage items. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner ensuring a very high level of guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to:

• Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards.
• Serves order as soon as ready in a professional and pleasant manner.

• Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.
• Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards and vouchers.
• Completes side work to include polishing/rolling silverware, stocking condiments and glasses, sweeping and cleaning as directed by supervisor.
• Stock and maintain the bar to include, but not limited to, beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
• Cut, store and ensure product quality of all beverage-related perishables.
• Respond professionally to intoxicated guests, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to attend to guests, associates and management in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner which requires strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent education/experience required.
• Previous bar tending experience in an an upscale hotel or venue required.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
