The Research Psychologist plays a crucial role in conducting innovative research projects focusing on mental health and promoting evidence-based practices in the field of psychology and psychiatry. A Research Psychologist may interact with research participants as defined in research protocols and as part of an approved research study. Under the supervision of investigators, staff physicians, or the research program director, the Research Psychologist will evaluate research participants to ensure that they meet study inclusion/exclusion criteria. The Research Psychologist will help to design and execute research studies in accordance with the approved study parameters. The Research Psychologist will provide administrative support, may provide clinical supervision of other research staff, and shall contribute to the research mission by managing data, conducting analyses, generating reports, tables, and figures, and writing and editing manuscripts.
