Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) - Child & Adolescent Autism

Location: Towson, Sheppard Pratt Health System, Maryland

Holiday/Weekend Requirement:

• Standard: Every other weekend.

On Call Requirement: N/A

Available Shifts:

• 1H Child - Evening/Night Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am, Open to 8 or 12 hour shifts.
• 1H Child - Evening/Night Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am, Open to 8 or 12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care, assessing and evaluating patient needs as part of a collaborative treatment plan.
• Special focus on patients with developmental disabilities, including non-verbal individuals and those unable to manage their emotions.
• Ability to make quick decisions in urgent care situations.

Must Haves:

• License: Valid MD RN License or Compact License. Note: NPs will not be considered for this position.
• Certification: Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA; CPI training provided upon hire.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of bedside RN experience.
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing.

Preferred:

• Experience in working with pediatric and adolescent patient populations, particularly those with developmental disabilities and autism.
