Sheppard Pratt is Hiring a Mobile Crisis Services Clinical Program Supervisor (Frederick) Near Frederick, MD

General Summary:

This is a supervisory position, requiring general and specific knowledge of behavioral health, crisis intervention, crisis stabilization, recovery and rehabilitation. Primary responsibility is to supervise the delivery of services, administration, and evaluation of Crisis Stabilization Unit within Mobile Crisis with integrity and professionalism. This is a salaried position. LCSW-C or LCPC licensure in the state of Maryland is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day operation of program activities and service delivery to clients
  • Ensure coordinated services to clients through effective interface with various program components and with external service providers
  • Teach, coach and model skills for staff development including crisis intervention and crisis stabilization skills and techniques
  • Support staff in implementing crisis interventions and provide feedback as needed
  • Supervise and coordinate services including intakes, staff assignments, and scheduling
  • Attend team meetings and provide leadership as assigned. Attend other assigned meetings
  • Ensures compliance with applicable licensing, regulatory, and funding bodies
  • Implements and monitors information management systems that produce accurate information for reporting, evaluation and planning and decision-making purposes
  • Support staff in submitting accurate and thorough documentation in a timely manner
  • Provide monthly statistical analysis report to Program Director
  • Provide after-hours on-call support, problem solving around staffing and coverage, provide staffing coverage as needed
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with individuals served, families, and referral sources, community providers, funding sources, staff and other service providers
  • Ensure a safe work environment and positive team culture
  • Assess for health and safety and take action with individuals, groups and environment
  • Maintain client privacy in accordance with HIPAA, MD Privacy Law and Sheppard Pratt policy
  • Plan coverage for absences in conjunction with your supervisor
  • Complete training and documentation as required by regulation and accreditation bodies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Education: At minimum, master's degree in human service field
  • Professional Experience: Two years positively referenced relevant work experience; supervisory experience preferred
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to navigate through applications and utilize keyboard to input required documentation into electronic health record.
  • Driving Record: Safe driving record
  • Background Check: Satisfactory C&A CPS, Federal and State Background Checks
  • Transportation: Possession of a 4 passenger vehicle that meets company inspection, valid Driver’s License and vehicle insurance that names employee as insured driver
  • Availability of Work Schedule: Work primarily M-F business hours but must be flexible to adjust schedule to meet program needs including evening or weekends. Requires On-Call availability.
