Sheppard Pratt - Towson is Hiring a LPN (Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit/Towson) Near Baltimore, MD
The Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit is a 20-bed unit offering a highly focused crisis intervention model for the treatment of major mental illnesses where the average length of stay is less than 5 days. The Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit is located on Sheppard Pratt's main campus in Towson (Baltimore County).
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will:
- Provide professional patient care.
- Collect patient data and participate in treatment planning.
- Administer medications and medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
- Document and report patient progress to treatment team.
Requires:
- Graduation from an accredited program of nursing and current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Maryland at the time of appointment and continuously throughout tenure in position (or must be eligible to obtain LPN licensure by time of hire).
- LPNs are required to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
- Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
- AHA CPR required before first day of employment
