Our Vision and Mission
The Franklin Shelter, as part of Shepherd's House Ministries, exists to transform pain, fear and disconnection into safety, love, and belonging. We seek to create safe, welcoming, and inclusive environments that meet basic needs, allow for rest, promote health, nurture relationships, and illuminate pathways to restoration as individuals work towards personal well-being and sustainable livelihoods.
The Franklin Shelter collaborates closely with our Lighthouse Navigation Center in supporting unhoused community members in Central Oregon. The shelter offers 100 overnight beds, while the Lighthouse Navigation Center provides a day-use area supporting up to 60 participants, offering meals, hygiene access and clean clothing.
