Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with children ages 0-6 with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing support and implementing behavior therapy interventions. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. Duties: - Implement behavior therapy interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote independence - Collect and record data on individual progress and behaviors - Collaborate with the BCBA to develop and implement individualized treatment plans - Provide behavior management support to individuals in various settings - Support individuals in developing and maintaining appropriate social skills - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Qualifications: - Previous experience working with children, preferably in a behavioral health or special education setting - Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies - Familiarity with data collection methods and procedures - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Proficiency in medical terminology is preferred but not required - Must be comfortable working with individuals who may require inhalation medication administration Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications - Opportunities for career advancement and professional development - Comprehensive training provided - Supportive work environment If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with behavioral health needs, we encourage you to apply for the position of Behavior Technician.
