We are searching for a reliable, innovative Diner Manager to supervise operations at our bustling diner. The Diner Manager's duties scheduling shifts, ordering, reports, interviewing and hiring, creating awesome food ideas, overseeing payroll, etc. The Diner Manager will address customer complaints and queries in a clear, quick and courteous manner.

The Diner Manager will be responsible for modeling top notch customer service and training and supervising other employees in this area as well.

Opening and closing the restaurant.

Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members.

Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of all diner operations.

Interview, hire, train, oversee and manage discipline for employees

Understand the inventory and ordering of food, equipment, and supplies.

Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure all items are properly cleaned and in working order.

Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service.

Establish standards for personnel and customer service.

Schedule and receive deliveries.

Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, and/or safety.

Control costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation.

Create original food ideas.

Communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must obtain/maintain alcohol license (Oklahoma stores).

Creative and skilled in food preparation as well as creation of new food ideas.

Strong time management skills.

Very organized and detail oriented.

Excellent customer service skills.

Problem solving skills.

Leader for other employees.

Very good communication skills (written, verbal, electronic).

Knowledge of federal and state standards and requirements regarding food preparation and storage, sanitation, health, and record-keeping.

Physically capable of fulfilling all requirements, including lifting and carrying up to 80 pounds.
