ShepCo Paving Company is looking for an Experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman. Applicant must have a minimum of 8 years paving experience with 2 years as a foreman. Qualifications:

• Prior experience as an asphalt paving foreman
• Ability to work well with other team members, customers, and inspectors
• Ability to create a 'team environment' within the paving crew
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
• Valid Georgia driver's license with a clean record
• Must pass drug screening

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to estimate asphalt tonnage required based on field measurements
• Monitor materials yields to ensure project specifications are met and there are not material over-runs
• Plan, schedule, delegate, and supervise the work of crew members
• Keep daily records of jobs including materials used, trucks used, and crew labor hours
• Be on time
• Ensure the safety of other paving team members and the general public
• Must be able to communicate effectively and maintain simple records
• Other duties as assigned

ShepCo works within the greater Metro Atlanta area. This position does not require overnight travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
