Job Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of the Shentel Cable field operations. Supervises and direct assigned technicians, installers and repairman Primary function is maintaining network integrity by provider superior customer service in the installation and repair of customer voice, CATV and internet access services. Secondary function is the support of special projects.
Qualification Requirements:
a. Education: High School or equivalent required. BA/BS preferred. Other post-secondary training or education will be considered if applicable to position.
b. Experience Level: Minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications operations in an installation or repair function required.
c. Previous supervisory experience in telecommunication network operations, construction or project management preferred.
d. Skills Summary: Technical knowledge in CATV, telephony and internet operations experience also considered.
e. Participates in requested call rotation.
f. Licenses or Certifications: Valid Driver’s license required, clean driving record preferred.
Knowledge of:
a. Skills: Competent in the most common computer programs and applications like MS Office, Email, Web browsing and research. Can navigate most computer based applications common in the contemporary workplace.
