We are seeking Cashiers/Sales Associates to work at our Shell/Corner Mart convenience store in Richmond, Virginia. Hours are flexible and we are hiring for day and evening hours. You are the person who greets and helps customers in our store and are the most important person in the organization. You are the face of our company. We rely on you to provide outstanding service; maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment; stock and merchandise products; and, naturally, operate the point of sale system. There is plenty of opportunity to grow in this position and succeed as an Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager.

What might you do as a Cashier/Sales Associate?

• Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service
• Drive sales through effective communication with customers
• Maintain a clean, customer friendly environment in your franchisee’s store
• Ring sales and maintain cash control
• Perform all regular cleaning activities, and other tasks included in your job assignments
• Forecast, order and stock merchandise (with appropriate training)

* Must be 21 years of age or older.

While physical requirements for store employees may change depending on the store, the position typically requires constant standing, bending, reaching, frequent lifting of 1-5 lbs, and occasional lifting of up to 40 -50 lbs.
