Overview: We are seeking a Reservation Specialist to join our team at Shefah Hotels. As a Reservation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction by handling reservations and inquiries for our hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills in both Spanish and English, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. Living close to our hotel in the Union City area (within a 15-minute commute) is preferred.

Work Schedule: The Reservation Specialist will work from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Duties:

• Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist guests with making reservations, modifications, and cancellations
• Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and policies
• Utilize phone systems and computer software to process reservations and manage guest information
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and problem-solving skills
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, packages, and discounts to provide accurate information to guests
• Perform night audit duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hotel management, front desk, or hospitality is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
• Strong customer service and guest relations skills
• Proficient in using phone systems and computer software for reservations
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations and guest information
• Knowledge of night audit procedures is desirable
• Professional phone etiquette
