L. Knife & Son is hiring for an entry-level Beer Sales and Merchandising Trainee to get their foot in the exciting beverage industry. This role will allow you to learn the essential skills to become a Sales Representative and rotate through various key aspects of the beverage business.

The role will spend the first 3-4 months in a Merchandiser position, to properly train and prepare new hires before progressing to the role of Sales Trainee.

What you'll be doing:

1. Follow a regular route of weekly appointments of accounts in assigned area using your personal vehicle on a daily basis
2. Ensure that all product is rotated and code policy is followed
3. Install and maintain permanent and paper point of sale material
4. Organize and execute floor displays and placement of window neons and banners at all accounts
5. Organize and execute cooler resets according to company standards
6. Collaborate and communicate with other team members
7. Develop rapport with assigned customer base displaying high level of customer service
8. Provide route coverage as required once fully trained
9. Other duties as assigned

What you'll need to succeed:

1. Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing, sales and management or equivalent experience
2. Excellent oral and written communications skills
3. Enthusiastic, high energy, and self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Ability to work in all environments (including physical labor such as lifting, standing, sitting, kneeling, etc.)
6. Must have strong attention to detail, communicate effectively, and strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
7. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
