The right candidate will join our Des Moines, IA office on a hybrid schedule.

What we’re looking for:

SHAZAM is looking for a Chargeback Specialistto join our team. In this role, you will be challenged to learn multiple electronic fund transfer (EFT) networks’ rules and regulations and computer systems; and use your knowledge to investigate cardholder debit card dispute claims accurately and efficiently for our member financial institutions.

What you'll do:

Apply knowledge of Mastercard/Visa rules and regulations to process chargebacks timely and accurately.
Reconcile and balance debit adjustments to financial institutions.
Communicate with financial institutions, merchants, various associations, and other staff regarding exception items.

What you need:

Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, quickly adapting to change and prioritizing needs
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing ability.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience in retail banking, claims processing, or document processing.
Work efficiently within multiple systems, at the same time, which include a dispute claim platform, internal/external applications, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Professional communication skills, including written, telephone, and internal communication platforms.
