Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in Billerica, Massachusetts, is currently accepting applications for an anticipated opening for an Advanced Manufacturing Instructor for the 2024-2025 school year. Qualified candidates must be licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education as a Chapter 74 Advanced Manufacturing Technology 9-14 Instructor, or possess the requirements to become licensed. The ideal candidate should possess extensive manufacturing knowledge, as well as understanding the full machining processes to manufacture parts, CNC Machining / Programming, and implementing MasterCam / Solidworks software. Previous teaching experience preferred with a focus on training and mentoring students to learn the skills and competencies necessary to be successful in the Advanced Manufacturing industry. Massachusetts SEI Endorsement preferred.
