Job Title Inspector Operator Position Overview Responsibilities: Read work order fro correct tufting requirements Operate tufting machine Patrol machine watching for quality problems Check for correct thread-up of machine Replace blades, hooks or needles when necessary Repair or mend carpet when needed Rethread needles when ends cross or break Make sure both edges of carpet are balanced Cut dye headers on natural carpets Assist in primary backing change and check for correct pic and width Record all roll numbers on work order Assist in keeping work areas in a clean, orderly manner* Miscellaneous duties as required. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Education, Experience, Training and Certifications/Licenses: High school diploma or GED: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
