PURPOSE:
Shattuck-St. Mary’s is seeking a Boys Soccer Coach for the 2024-25 school year. To allow for transition, the start date for this position is preferably in the Spring of 2024.
Founded in 1858, Shattuck-St. Mary’s School (SSM) is an Episcopal, co-educational, college preparatory, independent boarding/day school serving 500 students in grades 6th-postgraduate from 37 states and over 30 countries. Set on a beautiful 250-acre campus south of Minneapolis/St. Paul in Minnesota, SSM offers a mix of traditional and progressive education. By cultivating creative and independent thinking, SSM fosters the transformation of its students to become citizens of integrity for an ever-changing world.
Ideal candidates will have the ability to make SSM Soccer’s recruiting and scouting program one that creates opportunities for elite level youth players. Creating and housing documentation of SSM recruiting and scouting philosophies and procedures is critical. This person will need to professionalize the program, be a leader in the field, while committing to the mission of the school and SSM Soccer.
Shattuck St. Mary’s School is a boarding/day school where coaches are expected to be involved with both student academic advisory outside of the soccer program and standard residential life duties involved with a boarding school setting.
