We are looking for a Director of Product Development Initiatives to support our journey towards continued growth and expansion.

Job Description:

To help us accelerate and drive large-scale transformations, we are looking for a Director of Product Development Initiatives to partner with the business, executives, and other leaders at SharkNinja. The role will be responsible for working across a portfolio of high-impact initiatives, primarily impacting our Product Development lifecycle, covering entry into new product categories, expansion within existing categories, driving growth in international markets, and continuing to transform our supporting capabilities to enable continued profitable growth.

This role has the potential for growth into specific functional areas of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Director assigned high impact global initiatives, partnering with leaders and teams around the world spanning teams across Product Development, Commercialization, Marketing, and Operations, amongst others
  • Work as a team member to support and drive high-impact projects focused on a variety of business outcomes and representing several functional disciplines
  • Interact and partner with senior leaders at SharkNinja to define project outcomes, workstreams, activities, timelines, team structures, and other foundational elements of project and transformation management
  • Lead development of approaches, frameworks, and best practices to accelerate and drive project impact
  • Develop effective working relationships with associates across levels at SharkNinja
  • Conceptualize and develop executive-level presentations that are concise, crisp, visual, and impactful
  • Provide support to the VP and Chief of Staff on other high priority activities, including project and program management, presentation development, and analytics support

Education and Experience:

  • 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in Product Development, Marketing, or Operations
  • Demonstrated functional knowledge and experience across various departmental or process areas in a CPG organization
  • Successful track record of delivering results within a rapidly growing company
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to drive for results, manage risk, and pivot when relevant to enable speed to results
  • Proven experience in using data (KPIs) in a measurable way to achieve specific strategic results that are relevant to the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills to develop, measure and improve key performance indicators
  • Successful track record of supporting cross-functional initiatives from concept to completion
  • Ability to integrate large amounts of ambiguous information into executive-level insights that drive action
  • Excellent executive-level oral and written communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter, with ability to identify and drive innovative approaches to address new challenges
  • Comfort working deep in the details, but also at a high level – shifting between the two near continuously
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working in a dynamic, fun, fast-paced environment
  • Superior MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Domo and similar program a plus
