Sharkey's Round Rock is Hiring an Assistant Salon Manager Near Round Rock, TX
- Support Salon Manager to oversee daily salon operations
- Lead the team (by example)
- Motivate and coach hair stylists & barbers to deliver excellent results
- Manage day to day business
- Hire, Train and Retain Stylists
- Ability to prevent and handle customer complaints with grace
- Balance the walk-in and appointment schedules
- Promote the salon to new customers as well as potential new employees
- Promote and maintain the Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids brand aesthetic, atmosphere and culture
- Be a team player and promote camaraderie
- Balance time between cutting hair on the floor and coaching the team to be successful.
- Hair salon management experience.
- Prior experience managing a team a plus
- Valid Texas cosmetology or barber license.
- Strong technical skills with ability to mentor
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of personalities
- Experience with Salon Ultimate software a plus but not necessary
- Full Time
- Rotating weekends
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
