Job Summary:

We are seeking a Behavioral Consultant with expertise in patient care and behavioral health to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Individuals with co-occurring diagnoses of developmental disabilities and covered mental health conditions shall have identified needs met by each of the applicable systems without duplication but with coordination by the Behavioral Services professional to obtain the best outcome for the individual.

Possess knowledge of medical terminology, and be skilled in patient assessment and applied behavior analysis.

Provider Qualifications:

Shall have a Master’s degree or higher in behavioral, social or health science or education and be nationally certified as a “Board Certified Behavior Analyst” (BCBA), or certified by a similar nationally recognized organization or licensed by the State Board of Examiners. Shall have at least 2 years of directly supervised experience developing and implementing behavioral support plans utilizing established approaches including Behavioral Analysis or Positive Behavioral Supports that are consistent with best practice and research on effectiveness for people with developmental disabilities; or,

Shall have a Baccalaureate degree or higher in behavioral, social or health science or education and be 1) certified as a “Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst” (BCABA) or 2) be enrolled in a BCABA or BCBA certification program or completed a Positive Behavior Supports training program and 3) working under the supervision of a certified or licensed Behavioral Services professional.

- Provide diagnostic evaluations and behavioral interventions for individuals withdevelopmental disabilities and covered mental health conditions
- Conduct patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to support behavioral goals
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities and covered mental health conditions.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation processes
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with patients and their families
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis)
- Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
