SMS is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. We will consider a hybrid/remote workplace depending on experience.
Annual Salary - $60,000-$65,000
GENERAL SCOPE OF DUTIES
The Marketing Specialist Digital, Print, and Content Strategy Specialist will contribute to consistent business growth by leading SMSs digital and print content efforts and marketing initiatives. This role requires a blend of creative content development, digital and print marketing expertise, and a capacity for data-driven decision-making, all while ensuring brand consistency and supporting corporate and regional marketing needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Strategy and Production: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the companys branding and marketing objectives. This includes advanced design tasks, such as creating content for digital and print marketing campaigns, sales/proposal documents, website, social platforms, and overall brand development, from ideation to completion of projects. Maintain brand standards across all organizational communications and proof work to ensure accuracy.
Digital Presence Management: Oversee the companys digital channels, including the website, social platforms, search engine marketing, email, and inbound marketing. Ensure that content on these platforms is brand-aligned, current, engaging, and optimized for audience engagement, conversion, and ROI.
Corporate and Regional Marketing Management: Collaborate with corporate leaders and departments to execute announcements, presentations, trade show materials, and other internal projects. Collaborate with regional teams to ensure execution of coherent marketing strategies that respect local market needs while aligning with the overall company brand vision. Provide necessary guidance and resources for effective local campaign implementation. Participate in brainstorming, generate new ideas, and improve overall creative content quality. Coordinate with applicable vendors on estimates, file prep, and delivery as needed.
Analytics and Performance Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital content and lead generation campaigns. Use these insights to refine marketing strategies, improve future initiatives, and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in marketing, graphic design, digital design or related field.
3-5 years of professional experience designing brand or marketing communications in either a corporate or agency environment.
Healthcare industry marketing experience is a plus
Proven experience in digital marketing and content strategy, preferably with experience in managing corporate and regional B2B campaigns.
Strong skills in content creation, copywriting, digital advertising (including PPC), and SEO.
Expert user of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Proficiency with WordPress Web Development is strongly preferred.
Fluency in digital and print design and production best practices.
Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive marketing decisions and strategies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
Self-starter with patience and perseverance.
Experience working with cross-functional teams across different geographical locations.
