We are adding to our team! We seek an experienced Paralegal in our Pre-Litigation Group who will support attorneys by gathering, organizing, and preparing various documents and files in the pre-litigation phase of the case. Communicate regularly with attorneys, clients, or other legal professionals to gather helpful details about claims, cases, or settlements. 
In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment and will:

• Communicate with clients to ensure appropriate processes are proactively managed with monthly client contact, required.
• Conduct research, investigate facts, and develop liability claims
• Draft demands for attorney review
• Follow up on medical records and bills
• Open health insurance subrogation claims
• Monitor clients' treatment and medical bills
• Follow up with insurance companies on liability and limits
• Submit Medpay demands
• Assist clients with property damage claims

The successful candidate will have:

• Certification or associate’s degree in paralegal studies
• Experience in a paralegal role, including an excellent understanding of legal procedures and terminology.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in personal injury law, highly desired.
• Working knowledge legal database software
• Experience in preparing demand letters
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
• Prior experience in office administration is highly desired.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment, required.
• Fluent in speaking Spanish, highly desired.
