Position Summary:

The beverage cart attendant is responsible for a mobile beverage cart delivering beverages and light snacks to golf guests on one of Shanty Creek's five, World-Class Golf Courses. This is a tipped position and is also guest-facing requiring exceptional customer service skills. Shanty Creek Resorts is committed to providing our guests a unique Up North experience. Position Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintains clean appearance of beverage cart at all times, checking oil and fluids at the beginning and end of each shift and communicating any issues immediately, and professionally, to the maintenance team.
• Ensures that beverage cart is sufficiently stocked with merchandise and supplies, while keeping accurate stock inventory records.
• Responsible to Inform supervisor of any problems or unhappy guests immediately to ensure quick resolution of issues.
• Records charges on guest checks utilizing POS/credit card system. 
• Responsible for end of day paperwork and deposits.
• Provides a level of guest service that meets/exceeds established Shanty Creek Resort's standards of service.
• Must pass TIPS certification training.
• Other duties as assigned

Professional Experience:

• A minimum of six months related experience and/or training in a high volume Food & Beverage operation is strongly preferred.

Education:

• There is no minimum educational requirement for this position.

Required Skills:

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• A basic understanding of the game of golf and ability to adhere to established Shanty Creek Resort's golf etiquette policies.
• Good food and service knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent guest/customer service skills.
