Shandy Last Mile Logistics has a new opening for an professional delivery driver to take over their prestigious country/city routes serving the northern Fort Worth Areas. As a part of the largest delivery companies in the country, we always operate with professionalism and courtesy, providing excellent service to our delivery customers.

The applicant for this position should have the relevant licenses and qualifications, should be efficient and trustworthy, and must be able to manage multiple deliveries in a pre-defined area for delivery. Knowledge of the area is preferable, but not required, but the ability to use maps or GPS is essential. The job consists of only daytime shifts with no overnight stops. You will be working on 4–5-day work schedule rotating through the 7-day work week.

For this position we require a Valid State Driver’s License and a clean driving record. We conduct background and drug tests on all applicants due to the nature of this position. You must be able to drive a vehicle safely for 40 hours per week. You also need to be able to lift packages of 50 lbs throughout the day.

Compensation: Starting at $18.50 /hour

• Additional Safety bonuses are awarded (based on Performance & Attendance)
• Drivers can earn $200 in bonuses each month.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving scorecard through Netradyne.
• Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Drive a DOT-regulated vehicle delivering packages in the areas of Fort Worth, TX
• Have a 4-5 day scheduled work Week, including weekends.
• Scheduled 10 hours Shifts with breaks and lunch included.
• Load and offload packages up to 50-100lbs from the Van
• Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner in the form of a deluxe delivery service across home, outdoor, and other products.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Over 21 years of Age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work.
• Clean driving record.
• Special licenses may be required to operate certain vehicles. Training will be provided as needed.
• Delivery experience may be preferred but not required.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines.
• Able to follow verbal directions, read maps, follow GPS.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Physically able to lift and carry object up from 30 to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Previous professional experience in multi-drop deliveries preferred; training provided.
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
