Shamrock Group is Hiring a Commercial Refrigeration Technician, Experienced Near Minneapolis, MN
Commercial Refrigeration Technician Requirements:
- Commercial Refrigeration Trade school degree - preferred
- 3-5 years of commercial refrigeration technician experience in installation and/or service. Prefer experience in restaurant refrigeration.
- Strong mechanical aptitude including electricity aptitude
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills, ability to understand equipment through schematics, diagrams, and diagnostic process.
- Experience with walk in freezers/coolers, reach ins, pantry units, ice machines, and beverage dispensing refrigeration systems.
- Must be trainable
- Must know how to operate and use common refrigerants such as 404A and R22. Knowledge of R290 is preferred.
Refrigeration Technical Skills Required:
- Solder, braze and use acetylene torch
- Able to replace expansion valves, cap tubes, compressors, evaporators and other refrigeration system components
- Test and identify systems for refrigeration leaks and able to perform repairs
- Knowledge and EPA certification for a variety of refrigerants and refrigerants oils
- Ability to run wiring, make electrical connection, and light plumbing to connect new equipment installs

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
