Lighting Installer/Technician – Low voltage lighting systems

Job Description

The Installer/Technician is focused on exceeding our customers’ expectations in all aspects of promoting, selling, and designing exterior lighting layouts to brighten customers living. This candidate will also perform daily installation and maintenance of low voltage systems. Our residential and commercial customers trust us with their pool enclosures, lanais, hardscape, and landscape lighting needs. Duties:

- Install, maintain, and repair lighting systems in various settings
- Collaborate with clients to determine their lighting needs and preferences
- Design and implement lighting plans for outdoor spaces
- Ensure proper functioning of lighting fixtures, including bulbs, wiring, and controls
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with lighting systems
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of lighting equipment
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in lighting technology
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on lighting projects

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Lighting Technician or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring techniques
- Familiarity with different types of lighting fixtures and controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
