PROJECT MANAGER – COMMERCIAL ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING

Summary of Position:

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee our electrical contracting. This position will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of electrical projects from planning to implementation.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects.
• Supervise, direct, and lead the work of field staff.
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
• Negotiate with customers to receive reasonable order costs.
• Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met.
• Maintain required project documentation and updates.
• Correlate field staff time with projects.
• Must have a valid and insurable driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
• Must be able to travel within the State of Florida as well as abroad.
• Perform tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of strong project management experience in electrical management.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills.
• Deadline and detail oriented.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Proficient in estimating software, preferably Accubid and Bluebeam software.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
• Availability and flexibility in day, night, and weekend shift as needed. Willingness to travel.

Work Location: In person, Sanford, Florida, not remote.
