Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team in an independent pharmacy setting. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and package medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process prescriptions accurately and ensure all medication is labeled correctly
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers

Qualifications:

- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred. If not certified, certification will be required within one year of hire date.
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and medical terminology
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician
- Familiarity with acute care procedures and patient service
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
