Job Overview:

We are seeking a Parts Counterman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control, retail sales, and customer service within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks
- Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct const. equipment parts
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
- Process orders for parts and accessories
- Collaborate with the service department for vehicle and equipment maintenance needs
- Handle returns and exchanges following company policies

Skills:

- Proficiency in using POS systems
- Knowledge of inventory control practices
- Familiarity with parts and repair terminology
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
- Prior experience in retail sales, or parts department is preferred
- Market awareness to recommend suitable products to customers
