SPSI is looking for Level II & III Security Officers. Armed (pistol, pepper spray, cuffs in holster belt) officers are a visible deterrent to crime, detecting suspicious activities, watching for criminal acts, and calling local authorities to respond when necessary. Officers’ primary responsibility is to protect client sites, employees, guests, and property.
We have several locations in the DFW area and are currently experiencing rapid growth and seeking FULL-TIME security candidates.
**Looking for individuals that are self-starters, motivated and take pride in the work you do! **
**MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A WEEKEND DAY **
Requirements:
Have a Level 2 or 3 TX Security Card
Have a clean criminal background
Be able to pass a drug screening
Reliable transportation
Active smart phone (to receive schedule & clock in/out)
Be able to stand for long period of time 8 hrs. or more
Perform frequent sitting, standing and routine foot patrols, which may require long periods of time, may involve climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain with indoors or outdoors and inclement weather conditions.
Occasional moderate lifting 10 lbs. or more
Tech Savvy- Smart Phone/ Tablet knowledge
Ability to prepare detailed written reports and complete forms
Pass background check including criminal history, references, prior employment, and education
Be willing to work weekends
Salary: Hourly pay is based on experience and level of certification ($13 to $19 an hour). Salary positions are also available.
