Senior Research and Evaluations Analyst

Shabas Solutions, LLC is a women-owned small business consulting firm providing expertise in scientific, technical, regulatory affairs, quality management, and management to public and private sector organizations.

Shabas is seeking a Senior Research and Evaluation Analyst to support the policies and our government client’s health mission. This position will involve working with the program manager and project manager, providing analytics for program evaluations, providing training and guidance on methodology approaches, facilitating data workgroup meetings, and briefing senior client executives.

Location:

Washington DC Metro area, Hybrid

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, global health or life sciences, public policy, informatics, or related fields; master’s degree in health informatics, public health, health systems administration, global health, or related field highly preferred.
• Training and expertise in statistics, data analytics, and/or informatics are required.
• 5 years of relevant experience; Federal government project experience preferred.
• Experience with human survey design, analysis, and mixed-methods data collection and analytics.
• Experience interacting with and briefing senior program leaders on technical project matters such as evaluation approaches, study outcomes, and methodological approaches.
• Experience guiding project teams on methodological approaches such as research design, analytical techniques, and sampling methods.
• Experience with statistical software packages such as SAS, R, Stata, and SPSS 
• Experience with qualitative software packages such as ATLAS.ti, Dedoose, NVivo or Qualtrics
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written), organizational skills, and attention to detail. 
• US Citizenship is required, and able to pass extensive government background checks. 
• Hybrid position – must be accessible to the Washington DC Metro area and able to attend client or project-related meetings in person when needed.
