Title: Lab Technician
Location: Piscataway NJ
Duration: 6 Months
Pay rate: $24/HR on W2
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare evaluation samples with fragrance oils in various product forms. Notify
evaluation
team if there are changes or inconsistencies to samples
- Degree in a science related field preferred or 3 to 5 years working in a lab setting
preferably in a fragrance lab
- Set up stability testing samples and pull and desired check points for evaluation team
Examine stability for any physical changes and report findings.
- Pull necessary oils from the Kardex sytem for applications samples
- Assist lab staff with daily lab functions such as restocking supplies, entering bases in
database, and cleaning dishware
- Record keeping for weight loss studies
- knowledge of use of pH meter and viscometer
- Maintain a well-organized laboratory and inventory, document procedures, and update lab notebook
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to Relocate:
- Piscataway, NJ 08854: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Work Location: In person
