As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces. This role is vital in contributing to the overall well-being of residents by creating a comfortable and sanitary living environment.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing resident rooms and common areas.
- Change and launder bed linens, towels, and other linens as needed.
- Clean and sanitize bathroom facilities, ensuring they meet hygiene standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with facility policies.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate department.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall well-being of residents.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding and respect for the confidentiality and sensitivity of mental health issues.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements:As this is a healthcare facility, applicants must be able to adhere to the following:
- Drug Screen 10 panel
- 2 step TB skin test or IGRA
- Respiratory Fit testing
- Titer- Hep B, Varicella, MMR and Tdap
