Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse with leadership experience to join their Patient Services team as a Nurse Manager! This leadership opportunity will allow you to make a positive impact on patients’ lives while fostering a team of Managers, RNs, and Patient Service Staff!
 
The Role:
 
The Nurse Manager is responsible for oversight of the daily operations of the Operating Room. This position works directly with the Director of Perioperative Services in the execution of strategic initiatives to optimize performance of the service. As a key member of the Surgical Services Executive Committee, the Nurse Manager collaborates with members of administration, surgeons, anesthesia providers and other key leaders to improve workflows and throughput, and ultimately support the clinical team in delivering exceptional patient care. Within our shared governance structure, you will promote exemplary practice, professional development, inter-professional collaboration and innovation across the service areas.
 
Collaboratively the patient care team and leadership team develop and continually refines structures, functions, policies and procedures, and channels of communication to best serve the needs of patients and families; needs of individuals providing care to patients; and needs/goals of the Hospital and system.
