Steel Erector / Iron Worker

Cedar Rapids, IA

We are looking for a dedicated iron worker to erect pre-engineered steel buildings who follows directions, works well with a team, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in their work.

The preferable candidate will have:

- 2 years of experience working with pre-engineered metal buildings or structural steel (preferred)
- Experience as a carpenter, millwright, concrete laborer, or in other construction trades. We encourage you to apply as there is flexibility to pivot to different disciplines.
- Welding certification and OSHA certification a plus, but not required

Requirements:

• General construction knowledge & logical thinking skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Confidence to work at height
• Good level of physical fitness
• Good communication and ability to follow verbal instructions
• Dependable and efficient work practices
• Value for performing duties in a safe and productive manner
• Trained on aerial lift or have operating experience
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must pass pre-employment drug test
• Valid Driver's License
