Seyer Industries is Hiring an Aerospace Program Manager Near Saint Peters, MO

We are looking for an Aerospace Program Manager who will be responsible for schedule performance, cost performance, and customer service for key customer account(s) specifically related to our New Part Introduction Center (NPIC).

Job Duties:

Leadership Responsibilities:

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed - is recognized as the "Face of the Customer" within Seyer Industries.
  • Responsible for communication and management of NPIC delivery & quality status, technical issues and statement of work changes to and from customers in a timely manner
  • Manage strategic growth customers
  • Ensure contractual requirements are accurate and understood by all stakeholders
  • Build and achieve project schedules
  • Identify & analyze risks and create actions to reduce/mitigate business impacts
  • Coordinate with Dir of Sales, Planning manager and Director of Operations to assure project NRE goals are aligned with tactical and strategic goals of NPIC projects
  • Manage and measure Cost Performance Index (CPI) and Schedule Performance Index(SPI)
  • Work with Operations Manager responsible for NPI facility to assure alignment on direct labor resource needs to meet business needs within NPIC programs
  • Monitor job workflow in collaboration with Production Control and other stakeholders, assure Epicor is maintained for jobs within NPIC
  • Collaboration with Operations Manager, Director of Operations, and Production Control Manager to monitor progress, revise schedules, resolve problems, and report results
  • Promote effective/efficient internal communication of NPIC performance at a project level
  • Responsible for timely change order management, including cost and delivery impacts
  • Grow relationships through operationally executing on existing orders while expanding contracts w/ NPIC customers (org growth) by proposing win/win solutions on new projects
  • Develop internal and external reporting procedures and systems in collaboration with Manager of Customer accounts, Operations Manager and Director of Operations
  • Initiate and foster a spirit of cooperation within and between Is seen as responsible individual that achieves customer goals through influencing skills (i.e. Embraces role of having Responsibility without direct authority)
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 6S
  • Maintain outstanding performance report cards and act to correct errors as they arise
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as
  • Conform to all requirements of Seyer Industries Quality System and any and all customer invoked quality requirements (AS9100 for example)
