We are searching for a world-class Optometric Technician to join our rapidly growing team. Candidates should be enthusiastic, detail-oriented and ready to work closely with patients to provide optimal service each and every day. An ideal candidate would be a quick learner who can pick up multiple technologies quickly and someone who takes initiative, stepping in to help before being asked to. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must and the ability to both work as a member of a team as well as on your own is necessary. We are committed to providing our team members a healthy work/life balance and foster future growth in our company as well as the optometric industry. Opportunities include future managerial training, promotions, and support while pursing licensure. Previous experience in the optometric profession is desirable however we will provide on the job training for the right candidate.

Job duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Pre-test patients
  • Perform specialized testing as order by the provider
  • Schedule examinations and office visits
  • Check patients in/our of their appointments
  • Verify medical insurance and vision benefits
  • Insertion and removal training for new contact lens wearers
  • Maintain proper patient flow through the exam process while keeping the provider on schedule
  • Billing and coding patient encounters

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.25 - $18.25 per hour
