Early Bird Lifeguards (Part-time)
Maintains safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety, and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
Certifications — CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Basic First Aid, Current YMCA Lifeguard or American Red Cross, Oxygen Administration (required within 30 days of hire), ability to maintain certification-level of physical and mental readiness.
Must demonstrate Lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA Standards
** Must be at least 18 years old and older to apply
** Must have reliable transportation
Early Bird Lifeguards Shifts Needed:
Mondays: 5 - 8 a.m.
$12-$13 / hour for Early Bird Lifeguards
NOW HIRING SUBS - Mondays through Fridays 5-8 a.m.
All positions require the ability to obtain PA State Police, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Fingerprint and National Sex Offenders Registry Clearances. If you do not have current clearances the Y will help you obtain them.
