New Jersey Mentor, a part of the Sevita family, provides Residential and Treatment Foster Care services to youth who may be facing out-of-home placements, transitioning back into the family home or independent living alternatives, or involved in the juvenile justice system. Therapist – Youth Therapeutic Group Home/ Community Homes

We offer clinical supervision!

$60K-$70K

Are you passionate, self-motivated, and committed about sharing your clinical skills and knowledge with a dynamic team? We deliver an array of services by modeling activities that help to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and families.

• Help guide children we serve to their fullest potential while in the comfort of their homes
• Conduct child and family therapy sessions face to face
• Support the development and implementation of service plans
• Compose treatment plans and encourage engagement in various therapies
• Organize and lead treatment meetings through active participation
• Build and maintain positive relationships with personnel from referring/collateral agencies
• Integrate whole person care through a strength-based lens

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in human services field required
• Licensed - New Jersey Issued LSW, LCSW, LAC or LPC required
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport.
• Active listening skills with a focus on empathy and guidance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• A reliable, responsible, solution-focused attitude and a compassionate approach to whole health care
• A commitment to quality in everything you do
