- Clean and maintain all common areas and offices including resident rooms, hallways, restrooms, nursing station, administrative offices, therapy room, showers, bath, walls, mirrors, windows, woodwork, trash receptacles, light fixtures, and other work areas so that health standards are met and the home is neat and debris-free. Cleaning includes vacuuming, dusting, polishing, mopping, and disinfecting all areas.
- Terminally clean discharged resident rooms and equipment within 24 hours of discharge.
- Empty all trash receptacles.
- Prepare rooms for new residents.
- Prepare rooms for meetings.
- Complete and sign off on daily, bi-weekly, and monthly housekeeper cleaning schedule and clothes dryer checklist.
- Sort and launder resident clothing, linens, and other washable articles. Wash, dry, fold, and transport dried items to residents and for storage per policies and procedures.
- Track supply usage and inform supervisor when additional supplies are needed.
- Perform various duties which may include buying and dating groceries and household supplies as determined by supervisor and submitting receipts to supervisor for reimbursement.
- Report any hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents and incidents to supervisor for repair.
- Complete assigned online trainings per company assignment.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Safety Programs as assigned.
- Follow Safety and Security Policies and Procedures at all time, to include fire and disaster drills.
- Janitorial/cleaning and/or housekeeping experience required
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
- An acute attention to detail
- Cook must be able to work an 8-hour day; either 6:30am-3pm, 7am-3:30pm, or 8am-4:30pm
- Housekeeper is on one of the following set schedules:
- Schedule 1 days are Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
- Plus every other Wednesday
- Schedule 2 days are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Plus every other Wednesday
- Full compensation/benefits package for employees working 30 hours/week.
