Job Summary: Working directly for the Sales Support & Customer Service Manager with cross-functional team support responsibilities for the Sales division.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• MS Office proficiency. Most customer and internal communications are done via email in Outlook
• Accurate data entry and typing skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate and build customer and internal relationships
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
  1. Ensure orders (manual and EDI) are processed with proper pricing and promotions – coordinate with Finance as needed
  2. Review shortage report and production schedule – communicate with customers and coordinate order changes with 3^rd party warehouses and the internal Logistics team
  3. Track and manage shipments to customers to ensure on-time delivery 
  4. Reply to customer requests promptly, including pricing, specs or POS, shipment tracking, invoice copies, etc. 
  5. Coordinate with other departments such as Purchasing and Quality Assurance to complete projects and requests
• Sales Support:
  1. Complete new item or new customer paperwork as needed 
  2. Communicate special pricing schedules to Finance and distributor(s)
• Other job duties as assigned 

Training Requirements:

Each incumbent must complete training and testing on the following topics upon hire and annually after that:

• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• HACCP
• Food Safety
• Allergens
• Chemicals
• Lock Out-Tag Out

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years equivalent
• Experience in a Food/Beverage Manufacturing environment preferred

Literacy:

• Ability to understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; and toxic or caustic chemicals
• The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock
• Hot or cold temperatures
• The noise level in the work environment is loud

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
