Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional care to patients in our rehabilitation facility in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients achieve their maximum level of independence and functioning.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans for patients.
• Monitoring and managing patient progress, including rehabilitation therapies, medication administration, and response to treatment.
• Providing patient and family education regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
• Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
• Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Advocating for patients' needs and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to enhance nursing practice and patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or similar healthcare setting.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records/documentation systems.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
