Travel ED RN

• 36hours/week (3x12s), 48hours/week (4x12s), 7a-7p, 7p-7a
• $2664/week - $3552/week - 13-week assignment

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department based on priority
• Conduct triage assessments and prioritize patients in need of urgent medical attention
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical histories
• Communicate with physicians, other nurses, and other healthcare team members regarding patient care plans
• Ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety are maintained at all times
• Liaise with patients and their families, providing support and education where needed
• Participate in continuous professional development activities to maintain knowledge and skills in emergency nursing

• Requirements:
• Current and valid registered nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in a busy Emergency Department
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution
• ACLS, BLS, certifications are required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and interdisciplinary environment
• Flexibility to work shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $2,664.00 - $3,552.00 per week
