Job Description: Registered Nurse - Stepdown

Location: Cumming, GA

Rate: $2000 Weekly

Shift: 36hrs - 3x12hrs - Nights

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team as a Stepdown Nurse in Cumming, GA (USA). In this role, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients who are transitioning from a critical care setting to a lower acuity unit.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and overall progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, and take appropriate action if abnormalities are identified.
• Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and provide necessary resources.
• Assist in emergency situations and be knowledgeable in advanced life support techniques.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Foster a supportive and collaborative environment for patients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of GA (USA).
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an RN in a stepdown/telemetry unit.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
• Strong clinical skills, including the ability to assess patients' conditions and respond effectively to changes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac rhythms and interpretation.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and other healthcare technology.
