Job Title: Registered Room - Operating Room

Location: Atlanta, GA

Rate: $2520 Weekly

Shift: 36hrs - 3x12hrs - Days

Job Description:

As an Operating Room RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the surgical setting. You will work alongside a team of skilled healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists, to ensure safe and successful surgeries. This position offers a competitive weekly salary of $3400 and is located in Atlanta, Georgia, a vibrant and growing community with excellent amenities and recreational opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Preoperative Care: Assessing patients before surgery, reviewing their medical histories, and ensuring necessary preoperative preparations are completed.
• Intraoperative Care: Assisting surgeons during procedures, ensuring proper functioning of surgical equipment, and maintaining a sterile operating room environment.
• Patient Advocacy: Advocating for patients' needs, ensuring their safety and comfort during surgical procedures, and providing emotional support as needed.
• Postoperative Care: Monitoring patients in the recovery room, administering medications, and assessing postoperative status.
• Collaborative Teamwork: Working closely with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists, to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records, including surgical procedures, medications administered, and progress notes.
• Professional Development: Staying updated on current practices and trends in operating room nursing through continued education and professional development opportunities.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhering to hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of Oklahoma or compact license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room RN.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred.
• Excellent clinical skills, including proficiency in surgical asepsis and infection control practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the surgical team and patients.
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
